Bubble Man

We started the day today with Jackson's 2nd birthday party in SF.  A great Bubble Man was there, and ALL of my kids were in pure heaven!  It was gorgeous weather and a great location for the party!

Story Time

My Dad caught these of me with the kids last weekend.  It will be a sad day when I can't fit all three of them in my lap for a good story from time to time.

Colbie and Addison are little chatter boxes now, with their adorable babble.  Caught this one of Coblie talking to the Mini Boden catalog that I received last night.  Hilarious!

Seascape: Part 2

After the big party on Friday, we did another big beach day on Saturday.  Seascape has a relatively empty, private beach, which again, made for an ideal vacation spot.  Nana and Granddad joined us as well, so we filled the day with digging sand holes, football and frisbee tossing, wave chasing and attempts at kite flying.  We're still finding sand everywhere, but  we are already talking about going back soon.  What a great little escape! 

 

 

What A Weekend: Seascape Part 1

For my Mom's big birthdays, she always opts for a trip of some sort rather than a big birthday party in her honor.  So, this year, with Erica's timely visit home, the whole family went over to Seascape for a long weekend of celebrations for Nana.  It turned out to be the absolutely perfect place to go for us, as the weather was fantastic, the kids loved the beach, park and pool at the hotel, and the rooms are condo style, so we could hang as a whole family for much of the weekend.  We headed down early on Friday, and went straight to the beach.  We haven't been to a beach since the girls have really started walking, so it was a whole new experience with three kids running to into the water.  But thank goodness my wonderful sister was with us, so we weren't outnumbered by children!   Jake could absolutely not get enough of the ocean.  I can't exactly describe his pure joy and excitement, but he literally screamed himself out of a voice both beach days, as he yelled so much. 

Once we could check into our room, of course we had to decorate it for Mom's big day, and bring lots and lots of gifts.  Dinner out went pretty well, and then it was time for Erica's delicious cookie cake and present opening.  It was a wonderful day, and the girls slept fine in their pack n' plays too, which made the night easy as well!

 

  

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!!!

Today is the day- NANA's big BIRTHDAY!!!   

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday dear NANA, Happy Birthday to YOUUUUUU!  

We are incredibly excited to be celebrating with you all weekend long.   We love you and hope that this coming year will be filled with laughter, adventure, joy and health!

This was our first attempt to do a birthday serenade with all of the kids- as you can see it was kind of a mess, but hope you like it anyways Nana!

Circus Time!

I was lucky enough to be able to have a date afternoon with my Jakey and go to the Barnum & Bailey Circus today!   We were both very excited, and it didn't let us down.   The show was a tad too long, but otherwise, the show is just like I remembered it.   Jake had his first taste of cotton candy and actually really didn't like it (what??) too.
