Back to the Discovery Museum
We took a quick trip over to Sausalito to the Discovery Museum on Sunday. It truly is just a fantastic place for small kids (even if it is always freezing cold!)!

Fun Weekend
The weekend started with an auction/fundraiser party at Jake's school. Jake's class performed a funny dance, and then we headed out to dinner. I have to say that eating out is very slowly getting easier. We tend to get seated at the back away from as many people as possible, which works best for everyone.
Saturday the kids went with Josh, Grandma Lee and Grandpa Bill to a practice Cal football game. I went to a seminar about raising twins as individuals which was fascinating (largest take aways- need to make a point to have 1 on 1 time asap with A and C, need to get them into a school environment asap for socialization, and split them up in school as much as possible).
Here is everyone taking an ice cream break from bikes and scooters in the afternoon.

Few More Easter Pics
My Dad caught some more Easter pics. I'm so glad that we got to use those flower girl dresses one more time!
This is when the girls spotted the bunny:
We had a little bunny birthday cake for the girls- again they didn't want to blow out the candles though, and requested that Jakey do it for them:

Happy Easter!
My goodness- three days of complete joy and excitement in our house with birthday festivities and then Easter! All of the kids have been practicing egg hunts, so they were SO excited for the big day to finally arrive. Jake decided to wrap some special gifts for the Easter bunny and left them outside, just to make sure that he left them some extra special stuff (too bad the sprinklers came on accidentally shortly after he fell asleep and all of the "gifts" were ruined!). Addison woke up upset at 5:30am to start the long day, so the whole household was up at that hour, just waiting for the sun to come up to see if any eggs were in our backyard. Jake found a chocolate trail from his bed to this Easter basket, and thought that was pretty awesome. Here is Jake finding the last few chocolates and then discovering his basket:
Everyone was incredibly excited to go through their baskets, and they were counting down the minutes until they were allowed outside to gather eggs in their PJs.
Little Addy consumed more chocolate in one day than she has ever eaten in her life!
After our morning fun, we headed to Grandma Lee and Grandpa Bill's house for a big family Easter brunch. Of course, my Mom and Lee put out an amazing amount of eggs around their house, for the kids to have one last egg hunt (I'm REALLY excited to not have to see any more plastic eggs until next year at this point!). Lee even put on the Easter Bunny costume again, and surprised the kids. The girls still wouldn't go near her, but they didn't cry as badly as at their party, and by the end were yelling "bye bye Easter Bunny". Jake still didn't figure out who was in the bunny costume- he even told Lee "Lee Lee- you missed the Easter Bunny! You were the only one who didn't get to see him!"...too funny that he didn't figure it out. Lee put out a fantastic spread, and the day just went better than we could have ever asked for!
