Tacolicious!

Lee Lee had the executive chef from Tacolicious at her house for a catered dinner last night...yum!!!  We had a late birthday celebration for Josh and Jonathan, and boy was it delicious!!

Colbie and Addy have officially started their first dance class.  It's pretty stinking cute seeing them in their little tutus.

Josh is now home, so we were able to do presents and cupcakes last night.

Fun Saturday

We had a great day yesterday, even with the gross weather.  We were lucky enough to meet Tia Lindsay's new puppies Stanley and Rosey first (as well as see their amazing new house).  The puppies are just the cutest, sweetest dogs ever!!  Then we headed over to Riley's birthday party at a Pump It Up, where all three of our kids were in pure heaven.  This Pump It Up had really nice jumpy house sizes for the girls, so they were able to jump a LOT, along with Josh and I.  Jake was running around chasing the birthday girl the entire party.  It was such fun, and great to see Marc and Allie again.

 

  

Family Park Day

Josh just returned from Florida, so we had to have some family time today with all of us back together.   We tried out a new park today which was fantastic- just can't go wrong with bringing kids, balls, food and a picnic to an area with tons of flat land to play on!

 

 

 

Officially registered for Kindergarten!!

We've been having a lot of discussions about whether our Jakey is ready for Kindergarten already this fall.   There are days where we think he is definitely ready, and days when we question ourselves.  So, we've officially registered just in case.  We can decide later this Spring to hold him back a year if we feel it is necessary for some reason, but at this point, we're leaning towards having him officially start school.  What a crazy, surreal milestone it was turning in this form!

Eric Carle

Good old Eric Carle books- they always have been and always will be favorites in our home.   I caught Jake reading to his sisters the other day, and it reminded me of when he used to have the entire book memorized when he was just 1 year old, and would recite it all.   I nearly cried watching the old one- I've forgotten what a chatter box Jake was, at such an early age!
