We've just received this from our Superintendent...it looks like all three of our kids will be very slowly returning to school in March! Exactly one year since this all began....just incredible that it now has been 12 months. Colbie and Addy will start with an hour orientation next Friday, and then hopefully two 90 minute afternoon sessions a week the following week. Jake will get an orientation sometime mid March and the details of his returns are still tbd. But, we're making progress! Daily we hear of more of our close friends moving away or leaving for private schools, as there is just so much frustration pent up in our area. Crossing our fingers that returning to campus moves quickly!

Return To School Update Thank you to our teachers, staff, principals and parents for helping us get off to a smooth start with Phase 3: “Some In-Person Learning” on our elementary sites for TK/K/1 this week! We are very excited to have our youngest learners back on campus for some in-person learning. We will continue to phase in grades 2-3 next week, then grades 4-5, and middle schools the week of March 15, now that San Mateo County is in the Red Tier. We will begin transitioning to Phase 4; Hybrid model after being in Phase 3 for at least three weeks and when the two conditions below are met according to our agreement with our teachers: Case rates reduced to below 4 per 100,000 (Orange Tier) or; Staff have had the opportunity to be fully vaccinated, which started for educators this week in San Mateo County and will continue over the next several weeks.
